How to Get Free Eclipse Event Capsule

League of Legends clients will now have Event Milestones. With it, they’ll also receive skin shards, and possibly even Mythic Essence. 

But how can you get this free content? Riot gives away content every day, but you don’t have to pay for it. We had the Arcane event We got lots of Free skinsIt’s possible, but it isn’t something that happens every other day. Let’s see what Riot has in store. 


Start of the Second Phase in Mythic Overhaul

With the Eclipse EventThe second phase in the Mythic Overhaul project has now begun. The revamped mythic shop, with Ashen Knight Pyke as the first, was the first phase. New mythic skinAdditionally, multiple unvaulted prestige skins can be added. 

We’re now introducing Showcase Milestones to the second phase. Players can unlock event capsules to earn various rewards. These milestones can be completed to unlock cool stuff. 

Free Capsules for the Eclipse Event 2022 Missions

Riot added some goodies to celebrate the release of the second phase in the Mythic Overhaul. To enjoy, those are free capsules as well as a Grab Bag. But how can you get your hands upon them? 

As it is with most events, tHere are some missions that only players who purchase an event pass can access. Other missions, however, are completely free and will provide you with event tokens. These tokens can be exchanged for skin shards and blue essence as well as keys or other items. 

Riot added two missions to its Milestones mission launch for players. 

  • 1 Eclipse 2022 capsule
  • 1 Eclipse 2022 Grab Bag

The Eclipse 2022 Capsule will give 3 skin shards guaranteed and the Grab Bag will also include 3 skin shards, as well as a heightened chance for some free Mythic Essence – if you’re lucky. 

Where can you get the free skin shards? 

On April 28, 2022, the missions for the free Capsule or Grab Bag in the 2022 Eclipse Event will be live. You can check if the Eclipse event is running to see if you have completed your missions and received some loot.
