Riot seriously doesn’t seem to know what to do with Master Yi. After nerfing him in Patch 12.5, his win rate shot up to more than 53% in Diamond+. It was also higher in lower elos like Silver.

Of course, Riot couldn’t leave him at that and decided to quickly patch a hotfix for Patch 12.5. This patch is extremely long and lasts for 2 weeks. The balance team needed to respond quickly before the Wuju warrior becomes too powerful.

Although the hotfix worked, it was a bit too good.? Master Yi experienced a dramatic drop in play, especially his win rate, since the B patch went live. He was still excelling After the nerfsThese were intended to discourage players from playing Lethality Master Yi and instead encourage them to focus on on-hit builds. Master Yi has been at rock bottom ever since the hotfix.

The win rate for Master Yi in Diamond+ is just 46%. His win rate for Silver is only 46%. has been lowered A respectable 50%. There are no numbers like before. It seems he still performs well in lower elos, but he won’t be a threat in high elo.

What did Riot Nerfs do in the Hotfix

Players were expected to move away the Master Yi’s Lethality builds.Instead, focus on items such as Kraken Slayer, Wit’s End and Guinsoo’s Rageblade They are known for their knockout effects. Riot took out a larger nerf hammer, but that was just too strong.

Alpha Strike, Wuju Style and Highlander were all nerfed — check out our Hotfix article for all the information — which reduced his win rate dramatically. In higher elos, his play rate also dropped.

So, it’s back to business when it comes to facing this jungler. Riot won’t be cheering the Wuju warrior in spite of such low win rates. League of Legends Patch 12.6?
